1. OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 2)
a) Beyond any fence, hedge or white post bounding the General Area of the Course
b) On or beyond the public footpath that runs along the left of the 1st/10th fairway
c) On or beyond the private road between the 6th/15th and 9th/18th tee
d) In the conservation area (to the right of 2nd/11th, 3rd/12th and 4th/13th fairways) as defined by the white posts and the hedge
2. TARMAC CART PATHS
The tarmac cart paths on holes 1st/10th, 7th/16th, 8th/17th and 9th/18th are part of the General Area of the Course and to be treated as an Immovable Obstruction. (See Rule 16.1 for relief).
3. FIXED SPRINKLER HEADS AND MANHOLE COVERS
Fixed sprinkler heads and manhole covers are an Immovable Obstruction. (See Rule 16.1 for relief)
4. PENALTY AREA (Rule 17)
The pond to the left of the 1st/10th green is a Penalty Area identified by red posts. (See Rule 17.1 for relief)
5. GROUND UNDER REPAIR
Piles of grass, hedge or tree cuttings may be treated as G.U.R. (See Rule 16.1 for relief)
6. STONES IN BUNKERS
May be treated as Loose Impediments and removed. (See Rule 15 for relief)
7. PROTECTION OF YOUNG TREES
If a young tree identified by a stake or guard interferes with the player’s stance or area of intended swing, the player MUST take relief under Rule16.1.
8 ELECTRICITY POLES AND LINES
If it is known or virtually certain that a player’s ball hit a power line, stay or pole within the General Area of the course the stroke does not count. The player MUST play a ball without penalty from where the previous stroke was made (see Rule 14.6b for relief)
9. PRACTICE AREA
The Practice Area, located to the left of the 2nd/11th fairway, is defined by the boundary hedge and the trees alongside the 2nd/11th fairway. It is not permitted to hit balls onto the 2nd/11th fairway or the 2nd/11th green when practicing.
The Practice Area may be used before any competitive round.
The Practice Area is NOT out of bounds when playing the 2nd/11th holes.
10. MEASURING DEVICES
These are permitted for use provided that they comply with Rule 4.3a BREACH OF LOCAL RULES - GENERAL PENALTY

Stroke Play - Two strokes
